Dear ESRI
I have created a series of secure map services using windows ArcServer. They are secured using a role with users loaded via active directory. Then I load the secure layers into ArcMap using my user account. This account has the user name and password but the "do not save" checkbox is left unchecked. I then saved the MXD and proceeded to export the file as a map package. The process seemed to partially work because when I added the mpk file to arcmap, it prompted me for a user name and password. As I am part of the role, the map displayed as it was suppose to. However, when I tried the same file with a person who was not added to the role it still displayed. He was prompted for a user name and password and when he typed it in, it worked as well. I was expecting him to be blocked. Does anyone have any idea what be causing the problem. We do not want the user to have to connect to the server and pull services into Arcmap.
Thanks in advance
