New Build: 3D modelling research workhorse

I need advice on buying a new computer for running 10.2 and working with LiDAR, DEMs, and 3D modelling. Based on your technical expertise, what would you suggest...

Basically, I think I require an OpenGL optimized system, ample RAM, and a fast multi-cored CPU (or either dual Xeon / fast i7. Thoughts?). I would also like SSDs in RAID 0.

Please see an example of a system below that is being considered, and provide me with any alternative setups or suggestions that would be suitable for this type of work.
