(I have searched the forums to no avail for my questions….)
Using ArcGIS version 10.1 and connecting to a File GeoDB
Relating a (registered) table from an Access database. Querying this table using wildcards fails (so ‘GRANVILLE’ works, ‘GRANV%’ does not). Is this expected behavior?
Selecting records in this related table does not select the objects in the associated GeoDB FC. Is this also expected behavior? (I currently write the query in Access and join the result into Arc)
We will (hopefully soon) have read-only access to the Assessor’s SQL Server version of this data. Wildcards appear to work with these related tables.
Does selecting rows in this relate data grab the objects in the associated FC? If not, is there a workaround? (There’s no data to check this yet, I’m just trying to get ahead of the curve before they go live)
