Calculating complexity of a line

Hi All,
I have a shp file with hundreds of polyline features (coastline fragments). I would like to measure the complexity of each fragment. I have used sinuosity in the past but it is a very course measurement and would rather use a more robust measurement.
I would like to calculate the fractal dimension or Hausdorff Dimension of each line.
Does anyone know how to do this in ArcMap 10? Or have any suggestions for another method or measurement?

I would appreciate any help.
