Excluding Fields When Using Search Function

Good afternoon,

I am having a problem when using the search tool. I am trying to only pull items by keyword(tag) in the metadata but it also comes back with results from both the summary and the abstract. This leads to problems as I am getting a lot of false returns. Is there an option to change this?
