When exporting a 10.1 map to PDF, using ArcGIS Online Base Data (e.g. Bing Streets, Topo), the basemap in the exported PDF is very pixelated and unreadable. I have tried every resolution up to 1080, in steps of 72, and EVERY OPTIOn in the pdf export settings, including quality, color space, compression (or none), and the ONLY result is that the exported PDF gets bigger, but the base map continues to be pixelated and unreadable. Is there a hidden export setting that is new to 10.1 that allows ArcGIS Online base maps to be readable when exported to PDF? Thanks.
