I am trying to export a map from ArcMap 10 that adheres to the scale set.
The steps I follow are:
Note: When I change to Data View and set the scale to 14999 the layer is not visible.
The pdf is created with the layer that should not be visible at the set scale range.
Was wondering if anyone else came across this issue or may know of something I am doing wrong?
How can I ensure that the map is drawn at the correct scale?
The steps I follow are:
- Open a Print layout mxd with a data frame size of Width: 27.6278cm and Height: 15.2768 cm.
- Add AGS services.
- Open the Layout view.
- Set the scale to 1:14999 (At this scale range I have a layer that should not be visible but it appears in the layout priview and the printed pdf)
- Click on File>Export Map.
- On the Export Map dialog select the Format options tab.
- Select "Vectorize layers with bitmap markers/fills"
- Click save.
