Setting relative paths in a map document for only SOME of the layers?

Hi all,

I'm wondering if its possible to set relative paths for some layers in a map document, but not all? There are two layers that I need to have their paths stay the same, but the rest should be relative. How do I turn off relative paths for those layers?

Ideas?
